Health database download
Let me know. If it is newer than R2 it might be something that I need to look into. Database Health Monitor normally runs fine on Windows 10, and has since right after Windows 10 released.
I run it on Windows 10 every day. Yes, I would agree. I need to get back in and do some more work on the Tech Debt section. It has been a while since I have worked on that. How to file a bug report? Some features not work for me, app just freezes and unresponsive. After installing your application again it no longer does anything.
The window pops up with the license agreement and I click I accept and then OK but then nothing happens and I see nothing running on my computer. Has anyone else experienced this? Perhaps there is something being blocked when it is trying to get the latest update.
Have you confirmed that you are running on the latest version of Database Health Monitor. Have you had issues where the license agreement comes up but after accepting the agreement, absolutely nothing happens. It just does not run.
Can you add a column to show if this this a primary or secondary server in the AOAG? I also have Hebrew as another language in my keyboards. Hi Steve. Thanks, Leon. Please, do you help me? I was using the tool for a while but the collectors generated blockages with other tasks so I had to uninstall it from the whole environment. With the continuous update I hope that this problem is solved. I used it for about 4 months and honestly it is an excellent tool, I found it very useful, it is a great help to monitor all SQL instances in a centralized way and the information it provides is very helpful.
I hope to have even better results this time. Thank you very much for contributing your knowledge for the general benefit, it is a great job, my respects. Thanks for your comments Jose. Ove the last 10 years that I have been working on Database Health monitor we have certainly had some bugs along the way. Any of those older issues that were causing problems have been resolved. Your email address will not be published.

Best Regards November Database Health is the first tool that I pull up when someone calls and complains about slow performance in their applications, that be Dynamics NAV, Dynamics AX or even the webpages running slow.
It saves me a lot of time finding the queries, missing indexes or what be it, causing the problem. This is by far the easiest and most effective tool to use, when searching for problems that need instant resolution.
Thanx a million for your contribution to the SQL world. September I would like to thank you for sharing this product with us free. I have installed and using health monitor on my production DB. Thank you so very much. I hope you will keep adding more features in this product.
Well done Rohit Outstanding app. Already referred it to several friends in the field. Well I do have to say the changes you have made regarding version 2. Your work here is quite impressive. Frank from Texas Outstanding! Besides enjoying the layout of your app, one thing I really like about the Quick Scan Report is each entry has a corresponding link that discusses the finding so I can go back and review recommendations, cautions, etc.
This has been resolved. Fixing bug in QuickScan for checks for operators and notification on job failures when SQL Express edition is running. Since the express edition does not have the SQL Agent then operators and job failures do not matter. Fixed a bug in the CheckDB instance report, when the user did not have sysadmin permissions the report would crash.
Now it displays a message stating that you need sysadmin permissions to view this report. Fixed bugs in several of the instance level reports when run with a user without the right permissions.
The error now shows the needed permissions to add for that user to see the report. Fixed a crash on the blocking by hour report on servers where the blocking time exceeded the size of an int. Fixed a bug on the historic waits panel, where if you clicked on the panel title, it would not work to activate the historic wait monitoring for the first time. New Features Added a Back Button in the top right corner to help with navigating reports.
Added Dark Mode still experimental. Added a command line parameter for the SQL Performance monitor to call with a server name as the parameter. This is a report that has only previously been available to Enterprise customers. Added the ability to run on a server with no outside internet connection. You can bring the DBHealthSettings. Also added links to the Help menu to link directly to the Database Health Monitor course. You can use Schema Drift to compare 2 databases and find the structure difference between them.
You can use this to track performance issues. Added several new checks to the Quick Scan report. Updates Updated the Quickscan report version check for more server cores, than the version of SQL Server installed can make use of. See the Release Notes page for details on updates in older versions.

Have a great day. Hello Steve, Is there an actual license for this product? Hi, Beta 8. What to do? Best regards Bojan. Its pretty cool and useful. Printing is something that we have on the to do list. It is not yet available. I am not currently working on a version with a web interface, but it is a good idea.
Stick with the free beta for now. I have one suggestion… It would be great if this tool was somehow expandable by adding your own queries. Just found this tool and am loving it. Two comments, one a request and the other a possible bug. Request: For the Technical debt, it would be nice if one could add additional items. Possible Bug: Your query for Big Clustered indexes returns multiples for nvarchar columns.
I have been thinking about ways to add additional items to the technical debt. This may be available in a future version. Thanks for reporting the crash. This has been fixed in beta 8. Thanks for the feedback. I have updated the exception handling in the charts.
This should be resolved in the next beta. Steve…is there any way to take the charts and graphs as well as the data as shown in the gui and simply via a job direct them to a folder say on sharepoint. Currently there is not a way to do that, but it is a great suggestion.
I will put it in my backlog and see when we could get it into a future beta. Is there a way to take the outstanding reports shown in the gui and simply drive them as is to a file or sharepoint? Steve, Good work. I have just downloaded and started playing with it.
As a production DBA I always want to see the current running queries and their execution plans. I use the following SQL to get the details; I would love to see if this can be integrated with the tool. Thanks for the great suggestion. This was included in Beta 9 a while ago and is part of the final released product. Hi Steve — Great product, but unfortunately, version 8. Are you releasing a new version anytime soon, or if not, can you just please take the expiry checking out?
Sorry for the delay. Beta 8. When is beta 8. Hi, I have using your app. It has timed out and will not run. Is there a way to continue to use it? Nice Monitor!!! Nothing was showing up. Advice pls. But when I launch it says Beta Version Expired go to the site and get a more recent version….. The new version, Beta Love the tool.
Thanks a bunch for it. I did find one potential bug though. I love the tool. Hi there. Just installed your application. So far it looks amazing. I have two questions. My index fragmentation task is running for the past 5 hours. Is this normal? Programa is not responding Second question is if there is any reason i never got any active queries showing.
The Index Fragmentation report is the slowest report in the entire product. Can you email how big are your biggest tables in the database? I downloaded the product and under the real time — table size th esize is correct but the row count is wrong… I have 46M rows but the report show M rows… can you please explain?
Dear Steve, Can we also have the option to generate script to fix the index fragmentations like the way we have the script to fix the statistics. Just found this tool.. Is possible to add query in this tool to get deadlocks detail?..
If you look at the Blocking instance level report you can see details on what may be deadlocking. Hello Steve, Thanks for this wonderful tool. I am able to see message in the quick scan report for a database that is offline, that there are no recent backups taken for it.
Can you please have this report exclude the databases that are offline? Sorry, due to limited resources, I had to focus my time on Database Health. Schema Drift is no longer available. NET Framework Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
I checked permission — it is ok. Details of message: See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time JIT debugging instead of this dialog box. Reload at DatabaseHealth2. OnLoad EventArgs e at System. OnCreateControl at System. CreateControl at System. You have server inventory report, perhaps we can also have a database inventory report too and if you could store the database size info over period of time, you could tell when the disk will be full if it keeps growing like this for capacity planning.
A single report for available disk space on all my servers with configurable threshold, red, yellow or green. I am old school so like to read my newspaper reports every morning to know whats going on in my SQL world Here is a link to my linked in profile.
Hi Steve, great tool!! Thank you a lot for this excelent application. Best Regards. Hello, I congratulate you for this very good tool, I would only recommend an option to send emails when a performace event occurs, for example some deathlock or a very heavy query, greetings. We are a small nonprofit organisation that among other things is involved in the fight against Human Trafficking, so Database Health Monitor played a big part in our financial ability to migrate to the Cloud.
The DBhM database itself is Clustered and myfront end client is connected to the AlwaysOn Listener and also to both nodes for sake of temporary curiosity. Thank you Steve, on the behalf of the victims of Human Trafficking and the other people that we assist. Great tool! Its been almost 10 days. Hope i receive it soon. Thanks again. Christos, Since the December release of Database Health Monitor, there is no need to wait for the code by email.
You can register for the code and immediately get one from the registration dialog. Is there a way to get a registration key for this direct from you as I have to install this on servers with no internet access and I cannot install it on the company laptop , very secure place where I work. Peter — If you register on any computer, you can then copy and paste the email address and registration code from the xml config file located in your documents directory. Hi Steve, This is a great tool, thanks!
As far as a link to understand the reports, that is everything on databasehealth. The whole site is designed as the docs on the reports. Can this functionality be added to Database Health Monitor? Is it possible to add a connection from an instance with a different portnumber then the default portnumber.?
When yes, how you do that?
