Uninstall sharp carousel microwave
Tags Microwaves , Ranges , Appliances Click to remove this tagging. I found some information for you that I am hoping will help you uninstall the microwave. I am adding the link below to help you with your question while you wait for your expert response.
I do hope that this will help you out. Thank you for your question and I understand your concern. If you have both mounting screws taken out from the top and have disconnected the venting, you will also need to remove the grill at the top. Remove the three screws to remove the vent grill.
You should see a slotted head on the end of the rods that will need to be released from the rear mounting plate. Be sure to support the microwave while releasing the two rods from the rear mounting plate.
It should then pivot down and then lift the rear up a little and walk it out. I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post. I thank you both. The info was exactly what I needed. Again, your help is very much appreciated. Randall; You are welcome and thank you for using Manage My Life.
Have a great day. Want to get updates on new answers? The Sharp Carousel series of microwaves helped introduce the concept of turning food inside a microwave oven for faster and more even heating. The carousel, usually consisting of a glass dish in the bottom of the microwave, spins around on a spindle connected to gears inside the oven as the food cooks. Unplug your Sharp Carousel microwave from the outlet. If the microwave is above the counter or range, the outlet will be in the cabinetry above the microwave.
Open the Sharp microwave door. Remove the glass plate for the carousel and any other objects inside. Loosen the screws holding the Sharp microwave in place. They should be visible on the bottom of the cabinet above where the microwave is mounted. Don't loosen them all the way, just a few turns.
