Play dragon ball z infinite world game online

Remember what happened when Goku did it Krillinfan member since This game cant compare to the tenkaichi series. They went back to budokai style and what up with the story mode? After i fought cell with Goku it went right to the buu saga they are skipping too much. Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World DBZ Fans, for the price this game is a ten. Plays like budokai series.

However it has minigames to break you away from always fighting. Kakarot member since I was a huge fan of the DBZ series, the Budokai series, and the Tenkaichi series, but even though this was Budokai it sucked!!

It sucked so bad I didn't keep it for a week. The mini-games were fun albeit easy, but some battles were so tough I had trouble on very easy. I'm a decent Budokai player This was a huge letdown. I almost stopped liking DBZ it sucked so bad. AnbuNaruto member since BTank64 member since Certain characters can also transform by pressing down in combination with the energy button.

With Vegeta, for example, in order to turn into a Super Saiyan, players would have to have at least four bars of ki and then press down with the energy button. In order to transform into a Super Saiyan 2, players would need at least 5 bars, and so forth. Transforming can greatly increase the amount of damage dealt, as well as make it easier to gain ki.

It can even briefly stun opponents if used skillfully. Lastly, ultimates return once again to Infinite World as a sort of hybrid between Budokai 3 and Shin Budokai. Like in Budokai 3, certain characters like Vegeta with his Big Bang Attack have ultimates that trigger short cutscenes where a minigame takes place to determine how much damage will be inflicted on the defender. Some characters though -- particularly the new ones -- do their ultimates entirely in game, like Teen Gohan's Father-Son Kamehameha.

No cutscene is engaged and the defender is given no opportunity to reduce damage. This is all on a character by character basis. Like in the previous games, ultimates often cause the camera to zoom to outer space so players can see the size of the massive fireball for dramatic effect.

The game includes 41 playable characters, 33 of which must be unlocked beforehand. Infinite World has battle locations from across the entire series, but it doesn't have every single one. The stages included in this release are:. As with the previous games, most of these stages can be destroyed by ultimate techniques like Frieza's Death Ball or Vegeta's Big Bang Attack.

This edit will also create new pages on Giant Bomb for:. Until you earn points all your submissions need to be vetted by other Giant Bomb users. This process takes no more than a few hours and we'll send you an email once approved. Gameplay The Budokai series has always had a very different battle system, growing progressively more refined as the years went on, finally culminating in Infinite World. Offense Goku's signature Kamehameha is a fine way to end a combo.

Ki and Defense Goku using aura guard Players are also tasked with managing their ki while they battle, which is represented by seven yellow bars under the health meter. It may also be used in combination with the punch, kick or ki blast to launch modified versions of each which provide extra stun for linking combos. This game also removes the dragon rush mechanic used in the previous games, a great decision by Dimps as a fighting game should never have mechanics which rely on the luck of an individual.

I am however disappointed about the fact that beam struggles have been removed from the game, that isn't to say that the mechanic didn't need to be changed however. The beam struggle mechanic could have been improved by allowing both players to use up 1 or 2 ki bars to increase the power of their beams through inputting the same command for the attack e.

This would be a great addition to the ki-centred metagame which has been slowly established by the other 3 games.

In terms of balance this game is also an improvement on Budokai 3, the characters have been tweaked here and there so they all have a much greater balance of advantages and disadvantages.

However, do not think that because the balancing in this game is an improvement that all the characters are completely balanced.

There are still a few of them that could be further buffed or nerfed to make the game more balanced. Though I can understand the reasoning as characters with more tansformations have higher damage scaling so it was clearly implemented to address characters who have little to no transformations. Graphics In comparison to Budokai 3 the graphics haven't seen any improvement.

As far a I can tell there seems to be no improvement whatsoever but I may be wrong about this. Some aura's however have seen a little tune up and slight changes to probably conform more with the Anime. Which is very much a shame since the Capsule Corp soundtrack was by far my favourite track which I used to leave my console on in the background just to listen to. Story Mode Unfortunately I didn't enjoy the story mode in this game too much, in comparison to Budokai 3 I found it to be a step down.

Though the story mode hasn't been as good since the Budokai 1. What I will say is that I very much enjoyed the side games as they were a step away from the fighting which was a nice breather. It kind of reminded me of the bonus level in street fighter where you must destroy the car or the barrel jumping you must do. They were clearly making improvements in the gameplays depth and the balance of the roster which are really what any fighting game should focus on.

Very similar to Budokai 3, so if you liked that then you might want to check this one out. If you liked Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 then you will like this. Aside from the repetitive side quests, this shines in it's overall fighting, which is what the game is truly about, it's an Aside from the repetitive side quests, this shines in it's overall fighting, which is what the game is truly about, it's an assimilation of all that made Budokai 3 and Shin Budokai great.

I'd recommend this for any DBZ fan. Essential Links.
