First Name! What I want to do is select a series of images in a small area, some of which are on top of one another, and export them as they appear onscreen. Admittedly I could do a screengrab to do this but they won't necessarily be in the resolution I'd like and more annoyingly I would have to remove all the surrounding images and bits of text to create a clean image. This is far too time-consuming for a task I need to repeat.

Anybody any ideas as to how to resolve this? Post a Comment. Here's how: 1. Select the object s on your InDesign page that you want to export 2. Give the file a name, and click the Save button 4. Click the Export button, and you're finished. Email This BlogThis! Labels: InDesign. Deselect this option to export each page in a spread as a separate JPEG file. For Quality, choose from a range of options that determine the trade-off between file compression smaller file size and image quality:.

Maximum includes all available high-resolution image data in the exported file and requires the most disk space. Low includes only screen-resolution versions 72 dpi of placed bitmap images in the exported file. Choose this option if the file will be displayed onscreen only.

Medium and High include more image data than Low, but use varying levels of compression to reduce file size. Embed Color Profile. The name of the color profile is displayed in small text to the right of the option.

So, probably somewhere in the middle. Just find yours, go to ' dpi', go to 'Maximum', and see what the size is. Another thing you might find is that, if you don't have any images say it's just block colors your file size is going to be a lot smaller because it doesn't have to deal with all these colors. If you've got hundreds of images it's going to be even bigger than 1.
